My name is Adam Sledd and I am a person in long-term recovery. What that means for me is that I have not used a mind-altering substance since 2011. I have done some work on myself, and as a direct result of this, I have been able to achieve simple, yet profoundly rewarding things in my life. I am a father, a husband, and a citizen. Life is good.
This website is a place for me to celebrate and advocate for recovery. It is my hope that I can help to increase awareness, decrease stigma, and provide some hope as I communicate with those who seek, celebrate, and support recovery. Welcome!
The film below inspired me to create this page and join the recovery advocacy movement. I urge you to see it if you get a chance.
